08/24 - It is no secret childhood obesity is a global epidemic. Daily there are articles, news reports, statistics and discussions on the subject. The health risks associated with childhood obesity - physical, psychological and social - are at an all time high. Additionally, these health risks are expected to get worse as the individual moves into adulthood unless something or someone intervenes. There are many reasons and studies that argue why our children are more overweight compared to the past generations. Too much television, video games, computers, junk food, decrease in physical education in schools and neighborhood safety are all factors that must be considered. However, the common denominator is lack of proper nutrition and regular exercise. The good news is we can do something about this! Children need to be active. It is essential that they learn fitness is for life, not just about being an athlete. Exercise will help improve a child's self-esteem, strength, flexibility, creativity and overall health. Besides, fitness can and should be fun! I created Phibi Fitness as a solution. I am not only a fitness professional, I am a mother of three small children. It breaks my heart to see children of any age overweight. Not only because I know the statistics and see what it does to their self-esteem, but because of the fact that it is avoidable.

08/24 - Phibi Fitness Appearance

Phibi Fitness is available for private appearances for your special event, birthday party, schools, corporate events, fundraisers, book signings, non-profit organizations and charity events or promotional events.

Phibi Fitness private appearances $85 per hour, minimum 1 hour; maximum 4 hrs
*Out of state appearances or in locations further than a 1 hour drive, airfare, room, board and event transportation will be at clients expense.

Fundraisers, Charity Events, and Non-Profit Organizations $150 for 2 hours
Corporate Appearances $340
Birthday Parties - Packages Available for $75, $175, or $250, please fill out contact page for more information
Schools in St. Lucie County $35 for 1 hour

Use of the Phibi Fitness name, logos, and trademarks and/or any advertising that implies the support of an event or organization by Phibi Fitness must be approved by Nicole Brewer. This policy pertains to all forms of advertising, including all print, television and radio promotion.

08/17 - August/September edition of AKWA, page 43, the Aquatic Exercise Association's magazine featured an article written by Nicole Brewer about childhood obesity and Phibi Fitness.

06/20 - Phibi Fitness and Friends coloring and activity book for all ages to enjoy will be available July 1st, 2008. There are coloring pages, word search puzzles and each character features their own activities.

04/30 - Tuesday, May 27 at 3:15 - All Ages- Lighthouse Point, Florida: Phibi Fitness book reading and fitness fun. Meet in the Tennis Center at 3:15 and then we will meet outside for games and obstacle courses. Book signing and Phibi Fitness character appearance. Don't miss the fun!
